Roundtable Revival is a nonprofit organization that seeks to create inclusive, accepting, and empowering spaces for people who face barriers due to a conviction history, facilitating full reintegration into our community. The Mentoring Program offers twice a month group support meetings starting with a meal, followed up by a Life Skills presentation, and ending with an individual and small group mentoring session with trained Volunteer Mentors and Peer Mentors. Mentors and Mentees agree to have weekly contact outside of the twice a month group meetings. The goal of the mentoring program is to offer a safe space and mentoring support for adults who volunteer and are accepted into the program. We draw upon the power of a mentoring relationship to empower persons as they seek to negotiate the challenges of obtaining housing, employment, substance use and alcohol misuse treatment, healthcare, mental health treatment, and other needed resources.
